How It Works
Traditional marketing intelligence, research, win-loss and data vendors each answer part of the buyer question. None can give you the full context behind the answer, or the situation the buyer is deciding in.
StackSignal's panel originates in twelve years of executive relationship building at BuyerForesight, founded by Ash Prasad, who also founded StackSignal. StackSignal's access is governed by a written agreement between the two firms.
The full audience is 5.4 million senior executives across 18 industries. Of those, 1.8 million are active panel members. Active means they have opted in to participate in anonymous research and renew that consent annually, and that they maintain a profile covering their current role and current priorities.
Because members tell us their role and priorities before a study is fielded, we can invite the executives actually running a buying decision rather than screening for them after the fact. No member is paid to participate.
How we do it
Most research programs start from a standing start: a name from your CRM, an email, and an opening question of "why didn't you buy." We start from a relationship. The buyer already knows us from our work, so we skip the introductions and go straight to what they were up against, and where that pressure is heading.
We agree the accounts, roles, and questions with you. No boilerplate template.
Buyer intelligence, gathered before the interview begins. We arrive already knowing what they were up against.
Conversations run by practitioners, not call-centre staff. Sixty to ninety minutes, on the record with the respondent, anonymous to you.
We separate the one-off from the pattern. Every finding traces back to a respondent ID and a quote.
A report your CRO, PMM and product leaders can act on in the same week, not a deck that dies in a drive.

The difference
Most research programs ask the buyer to explain how and why they decided. We arrive already understanding their situation, so we get past the stated reasons to the constraints behind the decision, and how those constraints compound over the next 18 months. The input even the buyer did not know they were giving you.
Why this beats a pipeline-sampled program
The pipeline-sampled way
A pipeline-sampled program can only reach the buyers already in your CRM, so it misses the part that matters most: the buyers who evaluated you and never made contact. It opens cold, which means the call is spent establishing context you should have walked in with. And it captures a verdict at a single moment, with no way to tell a one-off from a trend.
The StackSignal way
We open on a relationship that predates your project, with senior buyers who agreed to talk because they know us. That means the interview starts where a cold one ends. We reach the full category, not only your pipeline, so you see the deals you fought and the ones you never saw. And because the same network answers repeatedly, we can tell a moment from a movement.
Who this is for

Q&A
If your program covers the deals you fought, we cover the market you never saw.
We sell you no marketing, advocacy, or media. We measure the market. We do not work for it.
